Darren currently serves as the Chair of the Marketing Society and the Asia Chair and Regional VP of PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association). Darren’s most recent position was Managing Director of Uniplan Hong Kong where he was responsible for driving brand experience transformation and innovation with global brands across Asia including Mercedes, Huawei, Audi, UBS, Google, and Hong Kong Jockey Club.
He has played a key leadership role across multiple high-profile projects including Asia’s debut of the world‘s premier modern and contemporary art show Art Basel, Longines HK Masters, Formula E Hong Kong, Lumieres HK and the Grand Opening of The Parisian Macau and Studio City.
Darren is a regular and current contributor to industry publications including CAMPAIGN, MARKETING MAGAZINE, and CEI. Darren is also holder of more than 60 premiere creative marketing awards including EFFIE, PROMAX, CLIO, MARKETING and CAMPAIGN awards.

I spent the first four years of my pursuit in Australia, before moving to Hong Kong to expand my horizon, in the aims of being influenced by new and creative cultures.
As CEO of Current Asia, David heads a team that builds data-driven content marketing solutions and helps companies use data to create better customer experiences and generate sales leads.
Previously, he founded Upstream Asia, a company that grew into a regional marketing services network and was acquired by Bite Communications (now called Archetype).
He was SVP, Marketing and Communications for Calvin Klein Asia, and also held senior positions with Burson-Marsteller and Hill and Knowlton in Asia, Europe and the US.
He founded the Digital + Direct Marketing Association Asia [D+D] and served as chairman for 15 years.
He’s the author of the book BIG M, little m Marketing: New Strategies for a New Asia.
